-------/| ACTUALITY INDEX TERMINAL |\-------

The following is a message from the Round Table. Please read it in full.

Welcome to the Actuality Index. If you are reading this page, you have been hired as a researcher for the Hyperuranios Division under the Fisica Commission. With that said, I will cut the talk and go straight to the important part.

Reality is not as it seems. What humanity would conventionally call the "observable universe" is nothing more than a mere grain of sand within the endless desert known as "existence", which is itself comparable to a single quark within a much larger cosmic tapestry far beyond even the best of our capabilities to comprehend it.

There is a God; in fact, there are all gods that have ever existed and will ever exist, as well as those that will never exist. All possibility and impossibility is realized within this world of ours, yet it is but an infinitesimal fraction of all that may potentially lie outside this realm.

In the face of our insignificant role in the midst of an uncaring world, we cannot simply fade into obscurity. Entities known as "Abstracts" wander the many worlds far above and below our normal purview, some of them embodying such concepts as "creation" and "life", others existing as affronts to the natural order laid out by the many sets of laws that govern reality as a whole, and yet others still perceiving us as a mere work of fiction to be altered for their entertainment.

If humanity hopes to ever make it in this narrative filled with invisible gods, we must know as much as we can about them. In knowing about them, we gain a measure of power - existence has both objective and subjective components, after all.

For the sake of us all, we must think beyond ourselves.

The Actuality Index is an organization dedicated to the research of transcendent entities known as "Abstracts" which exist outside the conventional ΛCDM cosmological model supported by scientific evidence. Abstracts are beings able to significantly affect or alter the state of the known universe (or any higher cosmological structure), some of which embody fundamental concepts and others which oppose them by their very nature.

Abstracts can come in many types; in essence, anyone whose existence or actions pose a potential risk to the cosmic status quo will be counted as one by the Index. Anyone from divine beings, to sentient concepts, to thoughts that can affect reality, to even the authors themselves (as well as you reading this page), can and are considered as Abstracts by themselves.

It is important to note that Abstracts are different from SCPs in the SCP Wiki; while the Foundation's objective is simply to contain anything that violates the known laws of physics, the Index's objective is to gain as much knowledge as possible about entities that exist predominantly outside the reach of their universe.

The Actuality Index Wiki is a collaborative writing project that takes place within the Actuality Index setting. Characters, stories, objects, and even locations that are considered at least High 3A by the VS Battles Wiki's tiering system are welcome here; even those that may be considered "overpowered" by any conventional standard.

"Edits", or altered versions, of existing characters are also allowed here.

We hope you will enjoy your stay in this wiki! In case you are interested in contributing to the Actuality Index or simply reading what we have, please read the below section.

-------/| IMPORTANT INFORMATION |\-------

It is highly recommended to read the following pages to gain at least some understanding of the basics of the Actuality Index setting.

DISCLAIMER

The Actuality Index Wiki and everything within it is a work of fiction made for entertainment and NOT a valid source of any scientifically valid information regarding anything beyond the observable universe. As of now, there is absolutely zero empirically or rationally verifiable evidence for the existence of any cosmological structures outside those that can be observed with our current capabilities. Please do not take anything in this wiki as legitimate scientific fact.
